About Paletta
A color system builder for people who ship code.
What Paletta does
- Turns one color into a full 50 to 950 shade scale with semantic roles.
- Checks every step against WCAG 2.2 and APCA contrast as you build.
- Exports to CSS, Tailwind, shadcn, and DTCG, or syncs to Figma Variables.
- Generation is powered by Claude Haiku.
Why it exists
Most color tools stop at a palette that looks good in a grid. Shipping a product needs more: full scales, semantic roles, and contrast that holds up in real UI. Paletta covers that path, from a single color to production tokens, with accessibility checked along the way.
What makes it different
- A bidirectional Figma plugin that moves tokens between Paletta and Figma in both directions.
- An accessibility lens while you create, not a check you run at the end.
- Shade scale generation from a single base color, tuned for OKLCH.
Who builds it
Paletta is built by Clavijo Studios LLC, a small studio run by Andres Clavijo. The studio builds focused tools for designers and frontend teams.
